Whether you want to look like you just came back form a tropical vacation or you just want to look your best, Body Xchange offers tanning services at 8 of our locations throughout Bakersfield for your convenience. Relax after a hard workout in one of our 20 minute lay down beds or just stop in during your lunch break and unwind before heading back to the office. For those of you that need someone to watch your child just so you can relax and tan for 20 minutes, Body Xchange offers kid care to help you out. Now….does any other tanning salons watch your kids while you tan?

Unlimited Tanning comes FREE with most memberships.

California State Law Requirements

1. Persons under the age of 14 are prohibited from tanning.
2. Persons between the age of 14 and 18 must have written parental approval and have a parent or guardian sign in the presence of a BX employee that they understand the risks and agree to the terms of use. The consent is valid for 12 months.

Kids Club

When it's time for mom and dad to take care of their workouts, it's time for us to take care of the little ones safely and happily. That’s why BX offers Kids Club so you can enjoy your workout and leave the kids to us. We do everything in our power to make your child comfortable and welcome while they have fun in a safe and supervised environment. Leave it up to us. We promise to do a great job for you.

Kids’ Club is our place for children ages 6 months to 11 years. It is available to Body Xchange members for a small fee – typically $5/mo per child for unlimited usage* if you add it to your membership at the time you first join or $2 per visit per child for a 2 hour session.

Once inside the Kids’ Club, your children will enjoy a fun-filled play area. We have games, toys, movies, seasonal activities, coloring, and the chance to play and meet some new friends.

Our Kids’ Club attendants will supervise your children at all times. All of our attendants are certified in CPR and First Aid. They can also easily page you in the club if needed.

Not all locations offer Kids Clubs so please check with your favorite location.

*General Rules & Guidelines

• Child must be at least 6 months old thru 11 years
• Maximum stay 2 hours
• Parents may not leave facility while child is in Kid Care
• No sick children
• Only Parents or Legal Guardians (with proper documentation) may bring their children to use the Kid Care
• Please call club for rates (we have monthly (unlimited usage) and daily rates.
